As the Medical Coordinator for Operation Walk Denver, James puts in many hours painstakingly planning for each mission. James first accompanied Dr. Dennis on a mission trip with the Operation Walk California team. The experience profoundly changed his life. According to James, “the smile and hug I receive after taking care of a patient on an Operation Walk Mission trip can be equated to the smile and hug I receive after putting a band aid on my three-year-old daughter’s bruise. Pure, sincere appreciation.”
